Penticton Thanksgiving Celebration
October 9-16, 2010
Information, schedules and registrations forms are available online at www.wcg.ca. We hope to see you there!
Plans are well underway for the 2010 Thanksgiving Celebration of Christ conference in beautiful Penticton, B.C. Beginning on the Canadian Thanksgiving weekend, we will gather together for an intimate and inspiring celebration of thanks to our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ. With eight days of worship, prayer, instruction and fellowship, we anticipate the experience will fill us with a deeper appreciation for the One who gave Himself for us.
This year we will once again be hosting the President of our fellowship, Joseph Tkach and his wife, Tammy, as our guest speakers. Gary and Wendy Moore and Colin Wallace and his wife, Beverly, will again be with us, as well as Todd Martin and his wife Kim from Abbotsford. Our special musical guest is Elizabeth Deveau, an award winning Christian songwriter and recording artist from Halifax who attends our fellowship. Elizabeth will be performing in concert on Saturday evening, and will help with worship leading as well.
This year’s activities include a winery tour and other favourite events, such as the Thanksgiving Dinner Banquet, Thanksgiving Open House, dinner on the SS Sicamous, Seniors’ Luncheon, bowling, movie and games nights. Information, schedules and registrations forms are available online at www.wcg.ca. Early registration closes July 31, so act right away to take advantage of discounted rates. We hope to see you there!
There are a limited number of information packets in the foyer, including a schedule and the registration forms.

About Laugh for Life
Laugh for Life is a group of Edmonton area residents who organize an annual gala as a way to lighten spirits and raise funds for charity. We look for comedians and musicians who are passionate about their gifts and will perform at the highest levels of excellence. The funds raised are given to non-profit groups that exemplify the call to 'love our neighbour'.
LFL is made up of professionals, business leaders, homemakers and others willing to volunteer in support of our vision. It was founded by Craig and Marlene Hutscal and is growing in popularity. We have raised over $132,000 for The Mustard Seed, Candeo Housing Association and other worthy charities in our first six events.
Laugh for Life is a division of Bread of Life, an Edmonton, Alberta-based non-profit charity set up by accountant Colin Presizniuk MBA, CGA of Presizniuk & Associates Professional Accountants. Mr. Presizniuk is the President of Bread of Life.
